| Summary: Two more episodes of The Hit Man & Her (presented by Pete Waterman & Michaela Strachan) were recorded in Hollywood Boulevard on Saturday & Sunday 4th & 5th August 1990 but who were the performers on these nights? Sweatbox record label held a showcase gig on Sunday 23rd September 1990. Hollywood Boulevard was voted Scotland’s Disco of the Year 1990 by Disco Mirror. Who were the acts on the night of the Atlantic 252 Radio Station Party on Friday 23rd November 1990? Despite being awarded 1st place in the Disco Club & Leisure International – 'Club Image Award', Hollywood Boulevard closed its doors for the last time in 1991 but do you know exactly when? There followed the lowest point of the building's history when it lay empty for seven years, largely unused until a major remodelling resulted in the doors opening once more on Friday 27th November 1998 but this time they opened to The Ballroom complete with new pink and purple frontage! Do you know what the building was used for during the closure? Saturday 4th September 1999 was the date of the first ever Pose World Party ('The biggest indoor party ever held in Scotland') Hosted by Reni from Aqua. The £20 ticket secured your place in the audience to see Tina Cousins / Bus Stop / Pauline Henry / The Pasadenas / Phats & Small / RMN Project / Blockbuster / Together / Bubbles & Damien. (Boy George & Earl Brown are reputed to have been present too!)
